Babies

My best friend just had her second child and he is so adorable. I call him Riggles (His name is Rigby) He'll have fun with his crazy older brother!
And the week before Thanksgiving I got to go to DC and visit some of my favorite children. Here are my favorites kids! :)
I can't believe how big they get! I've told every single one to stop growing and they just ignore Aunt Hilaree. We have some discipline issues to sort out! :)

Metro: Washington DC edition!

So it's been awhile since I rode a metro, but I did today and I got lost. I was riding from my sister's in Virginia to my brother's in Maryland. And they said take the orange line all the way down and I did and I was in the wrong place. We figured out that there were two orange lines and I had gotten on the express one. Oops! It all worked out in the end.
There were more normal people than I'm used to. A lot of people use it to commute to work. Phoenix metro riders are weirdos and strange college students. Still miss it though.

I'm thankful for...

My sister and her kids before dinner all say what they are thankful for and since I'm visiting I thought loo should do the same.
I am thankful for:
Transportation that takes me to family and those I love.
Food cause it's tasty.
Books.
Seasons.
Education. Work.
Being a nurse. Best job ever!
Peaceful thoughts and feelings.
Piano music.
Trees.
Photos.
USA. Freedom.
I'm really really thankful for:
My wonderful parents. No one has better parents than me.
My siblings and their families. I love spending time with every single one of them!
Christmas. For the above two reasons and the next one.
My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Without them, I'd have nothing and no direction in life our life for that matter. I'm most grateful for them and to them!
I really want to be thankful all year round, but I'm glad that we have this time of year to help us to be grateful for all we have!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Holly, you changed my life!

Cross stitching...
So Holly was the initiator of my new obsession with cross- stitching. I found these  ornaments at a yard sale and did each of them in like a day. I can't get enough of this hobby. It's also a great one to do with friends and on road trips and on planes. I'm also doing a big complex one but you have to wait to see that one.

See what I have already done here

I love this! Yay cross-stitch.
