SO it's been a long time.
I'm in Utah now. Living the high life...sort of. Why did I move? It felt right and my sister Margaret lives here. It's been 3 years since we were roomies.
What did I do this summer? Worked hard to save money to move to Utah. My siblings that live out East came and visited for a few weeks. It was awesome. Margaret and I tried very hard to be the favorite aunts (we succeeded) and we all know that the way into the hearts of small children is roller-coasters and goodies! We did it all!
After a fun-filled summer I quit my job and moved to UT. That was back in August. I searched diligently for a job and found one that I was fortunate to get! I now work at Central Utah Veterans Home! A long-term care facility for our veteran heroes. I love this job! I love my veterans. It's an awesome job. I don't have very many awesome medical stories, but I do get small memories that help me to realize what's important. My veterans are at the end of life and they impart wisdom (whether they realize it or not) on a young inexperienced nurse. For example, this place proves the importance of family and those relationships. Also, the smallest act of kindness NEVER goes unappreciated. My veterans thank me for the service I do for them, but what they don't realize is how deeply grateful I am for their service and sacrifice. It's a wonderful job and if that's the only reason I was suppose to move, then it was all worth it.
So I hope to be motivated again in my blogging. I took a break, but I'm back with more adventures to report on!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Yay for fall!

Easter...Utah...Colors...n'such
Happy Easter!
For Easter weekend my mom and I made a trip up to Utah to visit my sister Margaret! We took my car which transforms nicely into a bed. It was actually quite comfortable! One of the major reasons why I was visiting Margi was to go to the Holi Festival. It's a Hindu celebration where you throw colored chalk at each other. It starts bright and fun, but by the end you can't breathe and have turned brown. It was still a whole lot of fun! We stayed at our house in Midway. It has an amazing view! I love it up there and the weather was great that weekend!
So, Happy Easter a bit late! I love this holiday. It reminds us of the Savior's sacrifice and His glorious Resurrection! What a wonderful thing it is to know that my Redeemer Lives! :)

Mushy Metro
Confession. My metro riding days are beginning to dwindle. I won't be riding it much for the rest of the semester and then I will be done! But I hope to do my best till the end of the semester. So, February is the month of love and that was seen way too much on the light rail. People need to learn where and what kind of PDA is appropriate and public transportation is not the place for most kinds of PDA. It is cute when older couples are going on a day activity to downtown and they hold hands on the way to and from Phoenix, but those love sick teenagers mackin in the back of the train (or in the middle of the train) need to be told that's disgusting. On V-day I wasn't so stealthy, so no pictures but there was a lot of red and hearts and oversized stuffed bears and roses and cheap chocolates to remind anyone that it was Love-Day. Love was on the lightrail.
Next Metros will have pictures I hope.

Happy Groundhog Day
6 more weeks of winter! My nephew in Punxsutawney, PA, home of the Groundhog. Jealous that my sister and her family saw it live, but I watched the movie!

I went to a screening of a new Ron Howard production! "When you find me" is based on 8 photos that won the Project Imagin8tion by Canon. My old high school classmate and friend Mikey won one of the categories with his photo!

Here's Faith and I before the film began!

One of the best things that happened this week is the new shoes I got on Monday!
I also have a new fave song by Gotye (GO-tea-Yay) click for the link... The video is a bit interesting, but I actually really like it! I've been listening to it over and over and over and over...again!

On the 4th/5th Day of Christmas

On the 4th & the 5th day...
Everyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love the holidays! (Just take a look at my blog! :) And one of the things that really makes the holidays great is all the decorations.
These are a few of the greats! I was attempting to be artistic with my photography...didn't work.

This cool nativity is my mother's nativity that her best daughter got for her while traveling Africa.

We have a table full of Santas. It's cool!

Now my absolutely favorite decoration of all Christmas is the Tree! When I was young I would sneak out of bed and go sit by the tree! It was always peaceful and comforting. It makes me super happy!
Yay! Decorations! Christmas!
